Community engagement endeavors to help students recognize that while they are part of a diverse transfer student community, there are numerous opportunities to explore and participate in smaller communities unique to their interests and identity. Membership and participation across various community networks assist students to create strong peer and professional networks of support that enhance your academics while at UC Davis.

Participate in VSC Activities

Connect With Local Veterans Organizations

King Hall Veterans Association

KHVA exists to bridge the gap between veteran and non-veteran law students through honest and intelligent conversation, events that bring together these two groups, and by connecting with members of the community who are either veterans themselves or supporters of veterans.

UC Davis Veteran Constituency Group

The Veteran Constituency Group serves as a campus veteran resource that fosters unity and advocates on behalf of veteran staff, faculty and students in an effort to increase the presence, visibility and advocacy of the University of California, Davis veterans, service members and families. 

VFW Post 6949, Davis, CA

VFW Post 6949 fosters camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts; serves our veterans, the military, and our communities; and advocates on behalf of all veterans. Many members are UC Davis alumni and they partner with the UC Davis VSC in hosting events.

UC Davis Military Network, CAAA

The Cal Aggie Alumni Association helps ALL of UC Davis' 250,000-plus alumni around the world, Aggie parents and families. The UC Davis Military Network is a network within the Cal Aggie Alumni Association.
