Veterans Educational Benefits Certification Transition

Transition to Office of the University Registrar

On December 1, 2023, Veteran Certification transferred from the Veterans Success Center (VSC) to the Office of the University Registrar (OUR). This includes the use of the following benefits:

Chapter 30: Montgomery GI Bill®
Chapter 31: Veteran Readiness & Employment
Chapter 33: Post-9/11 GI Bill®
Chapter 1606: Montgomery GI Bill®–Selected Reserves
Chapter 35: Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program
California Veterans Fee Waiver

Information regarding VA Benefits and other certification information is available on the OUR website. Students who have questions in regard to benefits (like intake process and academic plan form - APF) can reach the OUR at ourveterans@ucdavis.edu.

With the transition of certification to the OUR, the VSC plans to expand our programming, academic support, outreach, and advising. We will continue to foster a welcoming space and engagement opportunities.

UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education

Certificate programs and some masters programs at UC Davis are offered through Continuing and Professional Education. Students enrolled in these programs should follow the Continuing and Professional Education procedure for veterans' education benefits.
